Tarpey Gallery Open 26
I was so happy to have two of my watercolour pieces selected to be part of the Open 26 exhibition at the Tarpey Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, Castle Donington, UK. And delighted to have one of the pieces collected on the first day! It is such a lovely gallery with an array of unique art work, always well worth a visit.
The Open 26 is on 27th June - 9th August.

Bleu Français Collection
This collection was inspired by a beautiful place in France. I was really drawn to the view because of the way the sky, mountains, mist, and landscape were layered, and the depth in all the different shades of blue. Painting in a minimalist way gives me the freedom to interpret what I see and capture the sense of balance and calm I felt in that moment.
Space to Breathe (Sept ‘25 Collection)
This series of work is a careful balance between minimal and movement. Refined pieces of art, reflecting the feelings of peace and calm found in nature.
I hope one of these pieces will find their new home with you.
Artist Statement
As a contemporary artist I draw my inspiration from the beautiful countryside surrounding me and the feeling of freedom it gives, spending as much time out in nature as I can.
My painting style is minimal and intuative. Each layer is slowly & carefully built up to create the final piece. In each painting I use glimmers of white to highlight certain areas. This symbolises the feeling of hope and moments of light in life. I love working with fluid acrylics and watercolour, as I feel I can really express my emotions through the water and paint, as it flows freely on the canvas.
My work has been exhibited at Contemporary Fine Art Gallery - Tarpey Gallery in Derbyshire, the Creative Melbourne Gallery and held in private collections across the UK.
